I was woken up by delicious strawberry cupcakes for my birthday breakfast yesterday.
This had me in hysterics. So funny. I miss Australia!
This is what I do when John is out playing hockey and I have the apartment to myself. I make a how-to video on the important topic of Tim Tam Slams. You should watch this video if:
- You want to learn how to do a Tim Tam Slam.
- You want to hear what I sound like. I’m told I have a ‘funny’ accent.
- You want to see my enormous bump. Sorry about that, didn’t really think about the fact that it would be front and center during this vid.
- You don’t mind listening to Winston munch on his dinner in the background.
OOTD: Cinema date with my boy. We saw Up in The Air…. not what I thought it was gonna be at all - interesting, and George Clooney is always cute, but it left me depressed. Go see it and you’ll see why.
I love this little dress - I have a thing for leopard print - tacky but true. Its just a cute little jumper dress and one of the few red things I own. These boots were a good investment this winter too, I’ve had a lot of wear out of them so far.
Dress: Warehouse, Boots: Moda en Pelle.
I bought a house-warming gift for a friend, and made these bows for the box out of old magazines. I adore wrapping presents - and this was a nice alternative. They turned out pretty well I think.
OOTD: Just went to a friend’s house for dinner, so a casual outfit. The dress was my bargain of the week - I am awful at sales shopping as I haven’t got the patience to sift through piles of mess, but this dress was right in the doorway and with a £5 price tag. It’s made me think maybe I should get better at sales shopping…. The boots are vintage, and were not the bargain I thought they were as I needed to get them resoled, but I love them anyway and they are really comfy.
Dress: H&M, Boots: Vintage, Leggings: Topshop.
Mark and I are very rarely in the house together in the evenings, due to different work schedules. Neither of us watches a lot of TV anyway, so when we are at home together chilling, we tend to watch stuff that is easy viewing - often CSI or Friends. (Or more recently, True Blood.)
Tonight was an exception.
Mark: “I’m not watching a show about diets.”
Me: “I’m not watching a show about truckers driving through Alaska.”
He caved, and we both learnt about what constituted a 100 calorie snack. (Just one reason why he’s a keeper.)
